Exciting Changes Coming to Actif Gyms!

Over the next few weeks, we’re making improvements to gym equipment across all our leisure centres to enhance your workout experience!

After listening to your feedback, we’ll be introducing new equipment and relocating existing kit across all our leisure centres to ensure you have the best possible workout areas. Please note that the relocation of existing equipment will be rolled out over the next few months and may not be complete until June/July this year.

Whether you're building confidence, improving mobility, chasing fitness goals, or training at a high level, these changes will ensure you have the right equipment to support your journey.

Plus, we’re introducing The EGYM app!  This fitness app helps you track workouts, set goals, and improve your fitness. We’ll keep you in the loop when it’s ready!

New Equipment per centre – from start of March 2025

Carmarthen Leisure Centre

We’re adding a:

• Smith machine,
• Hack squat,
• Glute bridge, and
• Double cable pulley training pod

We believe these pieces will enhance your strength & functional training.

Amman Valley Leisure Centre

Get ready for a:

•  Smith machine,
• Hack squat,
• Dual action pulley,
• Chest press, and a
• 2-station functional training rig!  

Llandovery Leisure Centre

We’re adding;

•  2-station functional training rig
• Pin-select chest press
• Shoulder press, and a
• Lat pulldown machine

Newcastle Emlyn Leisure Centre

We’re adding a;

• Smith machine,
• Assault bike, and
• Treadmill runner

We hope these will boost your strength & cardio workouts!

St Clears Leisure Centre

We’re upgrading with the following to start, but St Clears will benefit from equipment being relocated from the current Llanelli Leisure Centre when Pentre Awel opens

• Half rack and
• Technogym Skill range – Skillbike, Skillrow & Skillmill!
