Actif in partnership with Healthy Life Activities - 2026 events
Actif Sport and Leisure are proud to be supporting upcoming Healthy Life Activities triathlon events this year.
Healthy Life Activities offers the largest diversity of mass sports participation events in Carmarthenshire. Their events cater for individuals of all abilities, ages and allow athletes to set their own challenges.
Noelwyn Daniel and Sharon Daniel have organised over 140 top quality events for 20+ years, with the support of officials from Welsh Triathlon and British Triathlon, dedicated volunteers, local clubs and other organisations.
In addition to triathlons for older teens and adults, Healthy Life Activities also offer opportunities for children and believe in investing time and effort to ensure as many children take part in events.
The triathlon season in the county will begin in Ammanford at 7am on Sunday 19th April 2026, as the Actif Amman Valley Sprint Triathlon will take place in its 13th year. Starting and finishing at the Leisure Centre, athletes will complete a 400m pool swim and 16km on the bike before finishing off with a 5km run.
On Bank Holiday Monday, 4th May, the Carmarthen Mayor's Races will return around the streets of the Town Centre. The 3-loop 5K run for seniors will begin the day's action at 10am before a series of children's races, ranging from those in nursery through to primary school and year 7/8 ages.
The weekend of Friday 8th May, Saturday 9th May and Sunday 10th May will see three busy days of events as part of the 26th Llanelli Multi-Sport Festival at North Dock - Actif Sospan Charity Swim, Swim Sharks Llanelli Junior Duathlon, British Super Series Sprint Triathlon, Llanelli Para Triathlon, AGILIS Llanelli Sprint Triathlon and Llanelli Aquabike.
The latter is a Welsh sprint championship and the first race of the 2026 Welsh Super Series this season. Sunday morning's race will be filmed for the series' Welsh language highlights programme, which will be televised on S4C.
