- Mild to Moderate Intensity: Balance cardio and strength with classes like group circuits or dance-style workouts.
- High Intensity: Push your limits with spin, HIIT, or advanced conditioning sessions.
- 60+ Friendly: For those aged 60+, designed to demonstrate options for all abilities, from strength, mobility and falls prevention to more energetic workouts.

Attendance & Cancellations
- Check in using your RFID button at the access gates or on the readers on entry to rooms before the session starts to ensure you are checked off the register.
- Late cancellations (under 24 hours) or no-shows incur a £3 fee, charged to your account and payable before your next booking. This can usually be seen in the ‘My basket’ section of your account.
- Act early so others can take your spot, and avoid fees!

Low intensity
Baby & Me Fitness / Baby & Me Aqua
This is a fitness class designed to get you back into fitness without the hassle of finding a babysitter. Bring you baby or toddler along so they can socialise with other children whilst you get your workout done.
Beginner Yoga
Is a slow-paced stretching class involving yoga poses and flows suitable for beginners. The class will also include some simple breathing exercises.
Gentle Yoga
Stretch and strengthen your body, as well as improving balance and coordination. Yoga positions can be modified to suit your own level of fitness and flexibility. (14+)
Mild/Moderate Intensity
60+ Back to Spin
This low impact, low intensity spin class is perfect for those with lower fitness levels, beginners spinners or those recovering from injury or illness. (60+)
Aerobics
This is a series of choreographed routines, set to great music with high impact moves (14+)
Aqua Fit
A fun aerobic water based exercise class to improve your flexibility and tone with low impact to your joints. (11+)
Aqua Stand Up
A fun aerobic water based exercise class to improve your flexibility and tone with low impact to your joints. (11+)
Body Conditioning
A low impact strength circuit class that will also improve balance and coordination. (14+)
Cycl'H20
Specially designed to improve your fitness, while sculpting your whole body. The 45 minute class combines high intensity aquabiking, elements of aqua fitness whilst using the added resistance of the water. (14+)
Core
This class seeks to increase strength, flexibility and develop controlled movement from a strong core. (14+)
Dance Gold
Designed for active older adults who are looking for a modified dance class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity. (11+)
Exercise to Music
This is a series of choregraphed routines set to great music. The session can cater for all abilities, with alternatives offered throughout (ages 11+)
Family Circuits
For families with children aged 11-13. Have fun getting fit together. Fitness games and circuit style exercises so you have a good time, without realising you're getting fit! Improve fitness, strength and stamina in our family circuits' classes. (11+)
Family Spin
A fun indoor cycling session for our Actif Junior members to attend with their parents/guardians. All users must be 11+ and all users must be a minimum height of 4ft 11inchs. (11+)
Fit for Life
A circuit class focusing on maintaining/gaining cardiovascular fitness, mobility and flexibility around key joints. (14+)
Junior Spin
A challenging and fun indoor cycling session for our Actif Junior members. Parents must give consent if child is under 14 and all users must be a minimum height of 4ft 11inchs. (11+)
Legs, Bums & Tums
This workout utilises a variety of specific movements and exercises designed to shape the lower body. (11+)
Life Circuit
Focuses on cardiovascular exercises i.e. walking, cycling, rowing and stepping arranged in a circuit format and interspersed with strength and conditioning exercises. Ideal for those completing the National exercise referral scheme and LF connect "Health group"
MyRide Live / MyRide Tour / MyRide Studio
Immersive easy to follow indoor cycling session around the worlds most breath-taking and challenging roads, forest, mountains and even volcanoes. You create the action and burn calories in the process. (14+)
Posture, Balance and Fitness (PBF+)
A group workout targeting functional balance, strength and fitness.
Pilates
Pilates is a system of exercise and movement that is designed to increase strength, flexibility, and balance, integrating breathing and movement to improve fitness. (14+)
Step
This is a medium intensity class. The class is an aerobics style class which is designed to improve your cardiovascular fitness. (14+)
Triple Challenge
The 20/20/20 class is designed to give you the ultimate introductory challenge and total body workout. Sweat through 20 minutes of cardio, 20 minutes of strength training, and 20 minutes of stretching and core work (11+)
Women's Only Strength
Learn the core fitness fundamental movements designed to help you build strength and move efficiently, in a safe and positive environment.
These workouts focus on full-body movements that boost endurance, improve mobility, and increase confidence—perfect for all fitness levels looking to get stronger and feel their best.
Yoga
Stretch and strengthen your body, as well as improving balance and coordination. Yoga positions can be modified to suit your own level of fitness and flexibility. (14+)
Yogalaties
Improve flexibility and strength through a mix of yoga and Pilates inspired moves. Suitable for all abilities and levels of fitness. (14+)
Zumba Gold
The easy-to-follow dance-fitness class that feels fresh, and most of all, exhilarating! Zumba Gold classes provide modified, low-impact moves for active older adults. (11+)
High Intensity
Barbell Sculpt
This class will tone, sculpt, and strengthen your entire body, fast! This class challenges all of your major muscle groups while you squat, press, lift and curl. (14+)
Barbell Blast
High energy choreographed barbell based workout using lighter weights, with higher repetition, to bring that all over mean muscle look, which will strengthen your body's ability to burn calories (14+)
Body Blast

Body Sculpt
Low impact strength class that uses a mixture of barbells, dumbbells, and your own body weight to tone, strengthen and reduce inches. (14+)
Boogie Bounce
A complete exercise programme on mini trampoline, delivering a cardio workout choreographed to an eclectic mix of tracks from across the decades.
Boot Camp
An effective form of exercise that combines bodyweight exercises with interval training and strength training, designed in a way that pushes the participants harder than they'd push themselves. (11+)
Box Fit
An effective form of cross-training. The class uses boxing training methods to tone and strengthen the upper and lower body. (11+)
Circuits
A class of fun challenges that provides a fast moving way of accomplishing all round cardiovascular and muscular fitness. (11+)
Coach by Colour
These classes will enhance your indoor cycling experience by using 5 coloured training zones to ensure that you are working at the right intensity, every workout*. All you need to do is match the colour on your bike to the colour on the instructor's bike - simple but not always easy! (14+)
Cycl'H20

Functional Endurance
Functional endurance blends strength and cardiovascular training designed to improve your fitness, stamina, total-body strength and enhance overall performance. This high-intensity class will help you push your limits, and develop the power and resilience.
Whether you're chasing long-term fitness goals or just want to feel stronger during everyday tasks, this program helps you build lasting endurance.
Functional Threshold Power (FTP) Spin Test
Personalise and maximise your experience in these classes, we do recommend you complete an FTP Spin test, this will give you a more accurate number that gets inputted at the start of the class. Bookings for this test can be secured at reception. (14+)
Functional Strength
In this 45 minute class we will learn the fundamental movements of strength and conditioning. Movements will include deadlifts, squats, cleans and presses. You will get the opportunity to improve your rowing technique and learn moves you may be unfamiliar with as well as improving your form with barbells, kettlebells and dumbbells. (14+)
HIIT
High intensity interval training. This class will improve your cardiovascular and muscular endurance. (14+)
Kettlebells
This class provides the essential elements of core strength training and cardiovascular exercise with the use of a kettlebell. You will really notice a difference in just a few sessions. (14+)

MyRide Tour Fast / MyRide Studio Fast

Spin
High intensity session on a static bike guaranteed to get your heart racing whilst strengthening and toning your lower body and burning some serious calories! Individuals can adjust their workout intensity during the session to suit themselves. (14+)
Strength & Conditioning
This is a high intensity class which is designed to work on your full body by combining a mixture of strength and aerobic based exercises. (14+)
Tabata HIIT
Tabata training is a high intensity interval training (H.I.I.T) workout that lasts four minutes. The benefits of this form of training is that it burns fat in a short space of time!
Threadshold Training
This is a high intesnsity class designed to work on your cardiovascular fitness. Over time the class will increase your speed, intensity and power to allow you to work harder for longer. (14+)
Workout of the Day
This is a high intensity class using barbells, kettlebells and bodyweight, designed to increase strength and power. (14+)
Zumba
The latest in Latin dance, using the fusion of Meringue, Cumbia, Salsa, Samba moves to get your heart pumping and feet tapping. (11+)
60+ Suitable

No show and Late Cancellation fee
If you need to cancel a class booking, we ask that you do so at least 24 hours before your class or session start time to avoid a £3 charge for late cancellations. Late cancellations will result in the charge being added to your account.
You will need to pay this fee before making any new bookings, you can do so either through your account's 'My Basket' section online or via the Actif App.
Additionally, not showing up for a booked class also incurs a £3 charge. Be sure to "check-in" upon arrival by scanning your RFID button at the access gates or by scanning against readers on entry to the spin studio or dance studio.
This applies to all Leisure Centres and all customers booked into classes MUST scan to record attendance.
