Pontyates Welfare Hall

Join us in Whitland Memorial Hall for brand new exercise classes for adults over 60.  These activities are perfect for older adults and if you haven’t exercised in a while, don’t worry. All our classes focus on gentle exercise to help you regain fitness at your own pace. If you are used to regular physical activity, then all the exercises can be tailored to make it more challenging for you.

Our aim is to bring the community together and by doing so, we hope that attending these sessions you will

• Boost your mood and energy levels 

• Strengthen your muscles reducing the risk of any falls 
• Meet new friends, but more importantly that you have FUN! 

Classes are £4.40 per session. 

Classes need to be booked in advance to avoid any disappointment, to do this you can book via the Actif App or alternatively you can contact Ammanford Leisure Centre (01269 594517). If you are still having problems booking, please email actif@carmarthenshire.gov.uk 

How to book via the app

Firstly download our Actif app by going to your phones app store. Search for Actif Sport and Leisure. Once downloaded, open the app and click on the menu button ≡ (top left) then select My Clubs a list will then appear select Actif Community.

For Pontyates Welfare Hall sessions click on the Ammanford Area tile, scroll down and select the session you wish to book.
