Monday - Fit for Life (60+)

Session Time: 16:30 – 17:15 Starting 6th January

Cost: £4.40 per session

Class Description: (Low Intensity) A functional fitness class based on staying fit and healthy for life. Work on your mobility, flexibility, balance and strength, following everyday movement patterns, and using functional equipment. Suitable for 60+.

Monday - Junior Fit (11-13yrs)

Session Time: 17:30 – 18:15 Starting 6th January

Cost: £2.70 per session

Class Description: A fun fitness session for ages 11-13. Participants will be taught how to build strength and general fitness levels, ensuring they'll be safe when old enough to go to a gym on their own.

Monday - Circuits

Session Time: 18:30 – 19:15 Starting 6th January

Cost: £4.40 per session

Class Description: (Moderate/ High Intensity) Working through a series of stations you will increase your cardiovascualr fitness and muscular endurance. A fun class for those looking to get fitter and stronger.

Tuesday - Actif Story Time (0-4yrs)

Session Time: 12:00 – 12:45 Starting 7th January

Cost: £2.70 per session

Class Description: For children aged 0-4. During Actif Story Time children will read a story through a story together and take pauses to play games related to the book. Parental engagement is encouraged.

Tuesday - 60+ Social Sports

Session Time: 13:00 – 13:45 Starting 7th January

Cost: £4.40 per session

Class Description: (Low Intensity) A social sessions which includes a variety of different games such as Boccia, Bowls and Golf. This session is designed to tackle isolation and bring the community together. Suitable for 60+.

Thursday - Actif Story Time (0-4yrs)

Session Time: 09:30 – 10:15 Starting 9th January

Cost: £2.70 per session

Class Description: For children aged 0-4. During Actif Story Time children will read a story through a story together and take pauses to play games related to the book. Parental engagement is encouraged.

Thursday - Steadiness And Strength (60+)

Session Time: 10:30 – 11:15 Starting 9th January

Cost: £4.40 per session

Class Description: (Low intensity) This class will build on stability and strength through targeted exercises with a focus on maintaining functional movement and posture.

Friday - SenSport (16yrs+)

Session Time: 10:00 – 11:00 Starting 10th January

Cost: £2.70 per child, £4.40 per adult

Class Description: Multi-activity sessions that are adapted to participants needs. Suitable for anyone aged 16+ with limited mobility, neurodiversity, additional learning needs and more. We will be guided by you.

Firstly download our Actif app by going to your phones app store. Search for Actif Sport and Leisure. Once downloaded, open the app and click on the menu button ≡ (top left) then select My Clubs a list will then appear select Actif Community.

About The Senior Citizens and Memorial Hall in Burry Port

The Senior Citizens Hall has a theatre seating capacity of 40 and can be used for lectures, children’s parties, public speaking events, and meetings, including most of Pembrey and Burry Port Town Council committee meetings. The room can be set up for lunch or dinner functions to fit up to 4 tables of 10 and the kitchen is suitable for basic catering and food preparation.
