# Actif

> The Actif Van is a mobile community resource operated by Actif Sport & Leisure on behalf of Carmarthenshire County Council, designed to support sport, physical activity, and community events across Carmarthenshire, Wales. Purchased through a Welsh Government grant, the van is fully equipped with staging, lights, sound system, and other event equipment, with a primary mission to get 10,000 children active, particularly focusing on those in rural isolation and areas of deprivation. The van is available for hire to sports clubs, charitable organizations, and community groups, with priority given to opportunities in disadvantaged areas.
