Class bookings and waiting lists
Below is an update on some important matters regarding class bookings and waiting lists.
We’ve noticed that due to high demand, many of our classes are filling up quickly, resulting in waiting lists for several popular sessions. While we completely understand how frustrating this can be, we are working hard to find solutions that allow all our members the opportunity to attend the classes they love.
In response to this, we will be regularly monitoring the number of available spaces in classes with significant waiting lists, particularly when members fail to attend booked sessions. We’ve observed that some individuals are reserving classes in bulk and then cancelling at the last minute, leaving spaces unfilled. This is preventing those on the waiting list from accessing a class, and we want to ensure that spaces are being used effectively.
Please note that our waiting lists are not handled on a "first come, first served" basis. If a space becomes available, it will be offered to members who are actively on the list, regardless of when they added their name. This helps us to ensure fairness and maximise class attendance.
We kindly ask for your cooperation in the following:
• Only book spaces for the classes you have intentions to attend.
• If you are no longer able to attend a class, please cancel your booking as soon as possible to allow someone else the opportunity to take your spot.
• Be mindful of booking in bulk for classes you may not be able to attend.
We understand that everyone’s schedules can change, and we appreciate your understanding and support as we strive to improve our booking process for all members.
We’d like to take a moment to address some issues that some of you have been experiencing with our notification system. We are currently investigating why certain members are encountering difficulties with our app, particularly regarding waiting list notifications.
To help resolve this, please ensure that all your notification settings are turned on and that your mobile software is up to date. If you continue to experience issues after checking these settings, we recommend deleting and reinstalling the app. Once reinstalled, be sure to select 'allow' when prompted to enable notifications.
