What is Actif Places?

Whether you’re looking for a gentle Stretch & Relax class to unwind, an energising Circuits session to get your heart pumping, a chance to meet new people while keeping active or just a fun way to move more in your week …there really is something for everyone – all ages, all fitness levels, all abilities.

Where are sessions running?

Sessions take place in Whitland Memorial hall, Llanybydder Old School Community Centre, Burry Port Senior Citizens Hall, John Burns Centre Kidwelly, Pontyates Memorial Hall, Llandybie Hall, Y Neuadd Cefneithin.

What type of sessions are running?

At Actif we value inclusivity, that's why you can find a range of different sessions in the halls we work with. From childrens sessions to Circuits to 60+, we have something for everyone. How much do sessions cost?

Our community sessions are a bargain, at only £2.80/child and £4.50/adult. There are also memberships available, our community membership starts at £15.90 per adult. If you're 60+ you can access this membership for £7.95 for the first 4 months.

Where can I find more information?

Can I join if I have a health condition or limited mobility?

Absolutely. Active Places welcomes people of all abilities. Many sessions are adaptable, and instructors can help modify movements to suit individual needs.

Are the sessions social as well as active?

Yes! Many people enjoy Active Places as a great way to meet new people, stay motivated, and enjoy exercising in a friendly, supportive environment.

Are Active Places sessions suitable for all ages?

Do I need to be fit to take part?

Not at all. Active Places sessions are suitable for all fitness levels, from beginners to experienced participants. Instructors provide options so you can work at a pace that feels right for you.
